Description:

Maseno University currently comprises three campuses: Siriba and College, both in Maseno township 25km from Kisumu on the Busia road.  The core activities and central administration of the university takes place on these two campuses. The third Kisumu City Campus is made up of the Maseno Information Technology Centre,  Kisumu Hotel, Conference Centre and Varsity Plaza which are exclusively served by a spacious ample parking situated directly opposite the hotel.

The merging of Maseno GTI with Siriba teacher's college to form Maseno University college, a constituent college of Moi University and its subsequent gazetting in October 1990 crowned the two institutions several decades of meritorious existence.  It became a full-fledged university 11 years later in 2001.  The university boasts of well conceived faculties and schools offering various degrees and diplomas in social, biological and physical sciences.
   
The institution has managed to take advantage of several opportunities within the region and beyond which include collaboration with development agencies in and outside the country.
